When we find ourselves not ready to commit to a particular person, it is usually not about the circumstance as it is about us not really being into that person.

When we find just the right kind of person who tickles our fancy, we usually find ourselves ready and willing to commit.

Usually the root cause of our not being willing to jump in is when it is the wrong person. The wrong person is not someone who is empirically wrong or flawed but someone who we are simply not that into.

When we find the right person, something within us opens up irregardless of rhyme or reason and we find ourselves ready and willing to take the chance.

So if we are having second thoughts or feeling not quite ready or convinced about someone, it might pay to step back and keep on walking.
